As a result of the Independent art spaces training, held in Paris in 2007, the Asia-Europe Foundation has supported the following collaboration between November 2009 and February 2010.

The project Short Circuit Tactics is a joint collaboration between two independent art spaces: Green Papaya Art Projects (Philippines) and Pekarna Magdalenske Mreze (Slovenia). The art centres have created an exchange residency programme focusing on the exploration of issues relating to artistic production in the Philippines and Slovenia. The artist Miha Horvat and Lena Cobangbang will travel between Slovenia and the Philippines for the purpose of mapping independent initiatives and their respective engagement with local creative communities.
